Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated FedEx Freight Support Aide to join our team, focusing exclusively on non-voice support. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of freight operations by handling inquiries, processing documentation, and managing data through various digital channels such as email, chat, and internal systems. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be a critical part of our customer service infrastructure, providing essential back-office support that directly impacts our service quality and customer satisfaction without direct phone interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and respond to customer and internal inquiries via email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Verify and update freight shipment information in various tracking and logistics databases.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies related to freight movements, billing, and delivery statuses.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, sales) to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of all support interactions and resolutions.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to senior support staff or relevant departments.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and service standards.
