Job Description
Join the Amazon team as a General Warehouse Hand! We’re looking for motivated individuals to help us pick, pack, and ship customer orders. This is a fast-paced environment where safety and efficiency are paramount. You’ll be an essential part of our operations, ensuring products reach customers on time. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Pack and ship orders, including labeling and preparing for dispatch.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.
- Basic computer navigation skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating PIT equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
