Job Description

Chatters Hair Salon is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Hair Extensions Trainee to join our vibrant team in Mississauga. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience in hair extensions, offering comprehensive, specialized training to master the art of hair extension application, maintenance, and styling. We are looking for someone eager to learn, committed to excellence, and ready to tap into a high earning potential field. You’ll work alongside experienced stylists, gain hands-on experience, and become a certified expert in various extension techniques, contributing directly to our clients’ transformative beauty journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all provided training sessions for various hair extension techniques (e.g., tape-ins, micro-links, fusion, wefts).
- Assist senior stylists with client consultations, preparation, and aftercare for hair extension services.
- Learn and practice proper sanitation and sterilization procedures for tools and workstations.
- Develop proficiency in preparing client hair for extensions, including washing, drying, and sectioning.
- Practice and eventually perform hair extension application under supervision.
- Learn to match hair textures and colours accurately to ensure seamless blends.
- Educate clients on proper at-home care and maintenance for their extensions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative salon environment.
- Stay updated with new trends, products, and techniques in the hair extension industry.
