Job Description

As a Healthcare Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and timely flow of vital healthcare products. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to start a career in logistics, particularly within the sensitive and critical healthcare sector. You will assist with inventory management, order processing, and dispatch activities, contributing directly to patient care by ensuring medical supplies reach their destinations without delay. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the accurate receiving, checking, and storing of healthcare products.
  • Process incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring correct documentation and system updates.
  • Prepare shipments for dispatch, including picking, packing, and labeling according to healthcare regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with regular stock checks and audits.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding logistics operations.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and regulatory guidelines pertinent to healthcare logistics.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry and record-keeping.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • A-levels or equivalent qualification.
