Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) looking for a rewarding opportunity close to home? Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation.
- Assist with safe transfers and ambulation.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
- Observe and report any changes in client condition to the supervising nurse.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
Required Skills
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification in Florida.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Wesley Chapel area.
- Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients as needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or a similar setting.
- CPR certification.
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
