Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Logistics Laborers to join our fulfillment center team in Cicero, Illinois. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of Amazon’s world-class logistics operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock.
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Load, unload, and move materials within the facility by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
- Pack and ship customer orders, ensuring accuracy and proper labeling.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Operate scanning equipment to track products and update inventory records.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
