Job Description

You will play a vital role in transporting patients, equipment, and essential supplies, contributing directly to the comfort and safety of those in our care. Key Responsibilities
- Transport patients safely and courteously between wards, departments, and other areas of the hospital.
- Move equipment, specimens, medical records, and supplies as required.
- Assist with the transfer of patients from trolleys to beds and vice-versa, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of trolleys, wheelchairs, and other portering equipment.
- Respond promptly to requests for portering services via radio or other communication systems.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and hospital procedures.
- Provide compassionate support and reassurance to patients during transport.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
