Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and enthusiastic Luxury Goods Visual Tagger to join our dynamic team. This ‘Smart Working’ role offers flexibility, blending remote work with occasional on-site collaboration in our Bradford hub as needed. You will be instrumental in the authentication and cataloging process of high-end fashion and accessory items. Your keen eye for detail will ensure every item is accurately described and visually represented to the highest standard for our global community of buyers. This role requires a deep appreciation for luxury items, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately inspect and visually tag luxury fashion items (e.g., handbags, shoes, accessories, apparel) according to brand, style, material, and condition guidelines.
- Capture high-quality, standardized digital images of items, highlighting key features, branding, and any imperfections.
- Write clear, concise, and descriptive visual tags and product descriptions, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all listings.
- Collaborate with authentication experts to verify the authenticity of items.
- Manage and organize inventory, ensuring proper handling and care of valuable goods.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of visual tagging processes and quality standards.
- Utilize internal software and tools for item processing and data entry.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of luxury brands, current fashion trends, and market value.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions, both virtually and in person as required by the 'Smart Working' model.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable passion for luxury fashion and accessories.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Proficiency in basic photography and digital image manipulation.
- Excellent written communication skills in English for clear product descriptions.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a flexible work environment.
- Familiarity with various luxury brands and their product characteristics.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, e-commerce, or authentication within the luxury goods sector.
- Knowledge of vintage or archival luxury fashion.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- A degree or certification in fashion, art history, or a related field.
