Job Description
Autoglass is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Mobile Rain-Repellent Applier – Windscreen Specialist to join our team in Chesterton, Cambridge. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert application of advanced rain-repellent treatments to vehicle windscreens, enhancing visibility and safety for our customers. You will also support our core windscreen services, ensuring top-quality service delivery. This is a hands-on position requiring precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service. You will work independently on site and travel to customer locations within the Cambridge area, representing Autoglass with professionalism and technical skill.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately apply advanced rain-repellent coatings to vehicle windscreens following specific product guidelines.
- Inspect windscreens for cleanliness and suitability before application, performing necessary preparation.
- Educate customers on the benefits and maintenance of rain-repellent treatments.
- Perform minor windscreen repairs and assist with replacements as required, adhering to company standards.
- Manage and maintain mobile workshop equipment and inventory.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, explaining services and answering queries professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in automotive detailing, glass repair, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule effectively.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Basic understanding of vehicle safety standards.
