Job Description

Real Ventures is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and tech-savvy Online Administrative Partner to provide comprehensive support to our investment team and portfolio companies. This 100% remote role is crucial for ensuring smooth administrative operations, coordinating communications, and supporting various initiatives that foster the growth of our startup ecosystem. You will be an integral part of a dynamic team, contributing directly to the efficiency and success of our venture operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain complex calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for partners and team members.
  • Organize and coordinate virtual events, workshops, and investor pitch sessions for portfolio companies.
  • Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and other documents for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Process expense reports and assist with basic financial administration.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for administrative inquiries from portfolio companies and external partners.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems and internal databases with accurate information.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members and supporting remote work infrastructure.
  • Proactively identify and implement administrative process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or similar role.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a venture capital firm, startup environment, or financial services industry.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • A passion for technology and the startup ecosystem.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
