Job Description
Join the Amazon team in San Buenaventura as a Part-time Order Filler for our weekend e-commerce warehouse operations. This role is perfect for individuals seeking flexible work hours, specifically on weekends, to support our busy e-commerce fulfillment process. As an Order Filler, you will be a vital part of our logistics network, responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to our commitment to deliver excellent service to our customers. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or handheld devices.
- Efficiently pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product safety.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks or carts, after receiving training.
- Scan and track inventory items using Amazon's internal systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and staging packages.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 49 pounds.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and system interaction.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
