Job Description
Join the Great Wolf Lodge team as a Poolside Guest Host for an unforgettable summer season! We’re seeking high-energy, enthusiastic individuals to create magical experiences for our guests at our vibrant indoor water park and outdoor pool areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who love interacting with people, thriving in a fast-paced environment, and making a real difference in family vacations. As a Seasonal Poolside Guest Host, you will be the face of fun and relaxation, ensuring our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable time by the water. You’ll assist with pool area needs, facilitate games, and maintain a friendly atmosphere. If you’re ready to bring your positive energy and dedication to guest service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests entering the pool areas, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Monitor pool capacity and enforce safety rules to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Assist guests with towel distribution, lounge chair availability, and general inquiries.
- Organize and lead poolside activities and games to engage children and families.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool decks, ensuring a pleasant guest experience.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with lifeguard and other resort teams to deliver seamless service.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall resort operations during the peak season.
Required Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated high energy and enthusiasm, with a positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, outdoor and indoor water park environment.
- Strong commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, throughout the summer season.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, especially in a resort or recreational setting.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with children and families.
