Job Description

We are urgently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QC Chemist to join our dynamic team in Pasco, Washington. This immediate opening offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to public health by ensuring the highest quality standards for pharmaceutical products. The successful candidate will perform routine and non-routine analytical testing, interpret data, and contribute to the overall quality system within our state-of-the-art laboratory. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process, finished products, and stability samples using various techniques (HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Karl Fischer, pH, dissolution).
  • Accurately record, analyze, and interpret experimental data, ensuring compliance with cGMP, ICH guidelines, and company SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
  • Participate in out-of-specification (OOS) investigations and laboratory investigations as required.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods as needed.
  • Review and approve data generated by other QC analysts.
  • Prepare technical reports, summaries, and presentations of experimental results.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QC department.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical QC laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and dissolution testing.
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, GLP, and ICH guidelines.
  • Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) and electronic data capture systems.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control and method validation principles.
  • Previous experience with OOS investigations and root cause analysis.
