Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a friendly and organized Part-time Receptionist to join our Pasco local office for the morning shift. In this pivotal front-line role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued clients and visitors, setting a welcoming and professional tone. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining office professionalism and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome clients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer incoming phone calls, screen and forward calls, take messages, and provide basic information with a professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy, organized, and professional reception area.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room calendars.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Ensure office supplies are stocked and alert management when reordering is necessary.
- Handle client inquiries and provide general information about bank services.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative support role, preferably in a financial or customer service environment.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) is a plus, given the diverse community in Pasco.
