Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehabilitation Center Porter to join our physiotherapy support team in St Albans. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our rehabilitation services, directly supporting our physiotherapists and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our patients. This position requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to patient care and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with mobility and transfers to and from therapy sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Transport equipment, supplies, and documentation within the rehabilitation centre as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of therapy areas and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Support physiotherapists by preparing treatment rooms and assisting with patient positioning during therapy sessions.
- Handle laundry and ensure a constant supply of clean linen for patient use.
- Provide compassionate and respectful interaction with all patients, visitors, and staff.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, infection control policies, and company procedures.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from the physiotherapy team to support daily operations.
