Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Office Manager to lead our virtual team operations. This crucial role ensures the smooth, efficient, and productive functioning of our remote office environment. You will be instrumental in fostering team cohesion, optimizing virtual workflows, and managing administrative processes for a distributed workforce. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere within Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily remote office operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate virtual meetings, events, and team-building activities to foster a strong remote team culture.
  • Administer and maintain virtual office tools and platforms (e.g., communication, project management, HRIS).
  • Provide administrative support to senior management and various remote departments.
  • Onboard new remote employees, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support.
  • Manage remote office budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships.
  • Implement and refine remote work policies and procedures.
  • Handle internal communications and ensure information flows smoothly across the virtual team.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to remote work setups and coordinate with IT support.
  • Organize and maintain digital files and records.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in office management or a similar administrative leadership role, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a virtual team effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in virtual communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, Asana).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced virtual setting.
  • Experience with budget management and administrative processes.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
