Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Associate to join our team, specifically to support our growing Corporate Partner Program. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience for our corporate clients, from initial booking through to post-event follow-up. You will work closely with our corporate sales team and restaurant management to execute high-standard service, manage special requests, and build lasting relationships with our corporate partners. This is an on-site position based in our prestigious Spinningfields location.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve corporate guests with professionalism and attention to detail, adhering to San Carlo's high service standards.
- Liaise with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders for corporate events and bookings.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of corporate dining areas, ensuring all arrangements meet client specifications.
- Handle corporate client inquiries and special requests promptly and efficiently, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of corporate client preferences and feedback to enhance future experiences.
- Support the corporate sales team in promotional activities and client relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations within the restaurant.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with corporate clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings.
- Understanding of corporate event planning or client management.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Italian) is a plus.
- Food safety and hygiene certification.
