Job Description

Join the energetic team at Smyths Toys Superstores as a Toy Store Restocking Associate! In this vital role, you will ensure our shelves are always stocked with the latest and greatest toys, keeping our store vibrant and ready for our customers. This position involves evening shifts, perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing order and sparkle to our retail space. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently unload and process incoming deliveries, ensuring all products are accounted for.
  • Organize and neatly stock shelves, ensuring toys are displayed attractively and accessible for customers.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe stockroom and sales floor throughout your shift.
  • Rotate stock to ensure older products are sold first and minimize waste.
  • Assist with inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
  • Support the sales team by ensuring product availability and presentation.
  • Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 25 kg regularly.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Reliable and punctual, especially for evening shifts.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic numeracy for inventory tasks.
