Job Description

Are you a master of first impressions and have a knack for asking the right questions? Shaw Communications is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Virtual Lead Qualifier to join our growing remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be the initial point of contact for potential customers, identifying their needs, qualifying their interest, and seamlessly transferring them to our expert sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who excel at communication, possess strong active listening skills, and thrive in a fast-paced virtual environment. You will play a crucial part in our sales funnel, ensuring high-quality leads are passed on to maximize conversion rates. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage potential customers through outbound calls to assess their interest and needs.
  • Utilize a pre-defined script and adapt conversation flow to effectively qualify leads.
  • Ask probing questions to gather relevant information about customer requirements and pain points.
  • Accurately record and update lead information in our CRM system.
  • Seamlessly transfer qualified leads to the appropriate sales representatives.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during all interactions.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly lead qualification targets.
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and process improvements to the team lead.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong active listening abilities and a natural curiosity.
  • Proficiency in basic computer navigation and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in telemarketing, customer service, or a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications products and services.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset but not required.
