Job Description

Are you ready to kickstart a career in logistics with one of the world’s leading supply chain companies? DHL Supply Chain is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Forklift Drivers. No prior experience is required, as we are committed to providing comprehensive training and will even cover the cost of your forklift license (Reach and Counterbalance). This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking for a stable, full-time role in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will learn to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently, playing a crucial role in our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend and successfully complete all required forklift training and licensing courses.
  • Learn to safely and efficiently operate Reach and Counterbalance forklifts for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
  • Assist with the storage and retrieval of goods within the warehouse facility.
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any issues.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement as required.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for understanding instructions and documentation.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment (non-forklift related).
  • A valid driving license (not essential but beneficial for commuting).
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
