Job Description
Join Appen as a Work From Home Audio Transcriber and play a vital role in refining AI and machine learning models. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to accurately transcribe audio content into text. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the convenience of working from your home office. We will provide all necessary equipment to ensure you have the tools to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe diverse audio content, including conversations, speeches, and recordings, into written text.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy, grammar, spelling, and punctuation in all transcriptions.
- Adhere to project-specific guidelines and formatting requirements.
- Meet daily and weekly transcription quotas and deadlines.
- Review and edit your own work for quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding any audio quality issues or project challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security protocols for all sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with various audio formats and transcription software (training provided).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in audio transcription, data entry, or a related field.
