Job Description

Eaton is seeking a dedicated Online UPS Team Member to join our dynamic team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and maintaining the health and performance of our critical Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with data, and wants to ensure the seamless operation of vital power infrastructure without the high-pressure demands often associated with front-line technical support. Your primary focus will be on proactive data analysis and reporting, contributing to the stability and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time data from online UPS systems for performance, alarms, and status changes.
- Analyze historical data trends to identify potential issues, anomalies, or areas for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on UPS system health, capacity, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and field service teams to provide data-driven insights for troubleshooting and maintenance planning.
- Maintain accurate records of all monitoring activities, incidents, and resolutions.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of monitoring protocols and data analysis techniques.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards.
- Assist in documenting system configurations and operational guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work with and analyze data, preferably in a technical context.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of electrical power concepts or willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
