Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Per Diem (PRN) position at Catholic Medical Center. This role offers an excellent opportunity for LPNs looking for flexible scheduling, high hourly pay, and no long-term commitment. You will be an integral part of our healthcare team, providing direct patient care, supporting registered nurses, and ensuring a high standard of medical support. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient progress, and other relevant data.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Respond to patient calls and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
Required Skills
- Current unencumbered LPN license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proven clinical skills and critical thinking ability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care or skilled nursing facility setting.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
