Job Description
Sephora is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Returns Handler with a strong focus on hygiene and repacking for our makeup products. This critical role ensures that returned cosmetic items are processed efficiently, adhering strictly to our high standards for sanitation, quality, and inventory accuracy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in inspecting, cleaning, and preparing makeup returns for potential re-shelving or proper disposal, maintaining the integrity of our premium beauty offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect returned makeup products for damage, usage, and adherence to return policy.
- Execute thorough cleaning and sanitization protocols for returned cosmetic items, ensuring strict hygiene standards are met.
- Professionally repackage eligible makeup products to meet Sephora's brand presentation guidelines.
- Accurately document all processed returns, including reasons for return, product condition, and final disposition.
- Operate inventory management systems to update stock levels and track returned merchandise.
- Collaborate with the customer service and inventory teams to resolve discrepancies and improve return processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the returns processing area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a particular emphasis on health and safety regulations related to cosmetics.
