Job Description
As a Google Fleet Logistics professional with an Autonomous Tech focus, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our autonomous fleet operations. This fully remote position involves strategic planning, optimization, and oversight of logistics processes for our self-driving vehicles, ensuring efficiency, safety, and scalability. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate autonomous technologies into existing and new logistical frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans for autonomous vehicle fleets.
- Optimize routing, scheduling, and asset utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate autonomous vehicle systems into logistics operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and technology partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and operational standards.
- Contribute to the development of contingency plans for operational disruptions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations.
- Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle technologies and their operational implications.
- Proficiency in data analysis and logistics optimization software.
