Job Description

As a Google Fleet Logistics professional with an Autonomous Tech focus, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our autonomous fleet operations. This fully remote position involves strategic planning, optimization, and oversight of logistics processes for our self-driving vehicles, ensuring efficiency, safety, and scalability. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate autonomous technologies into existing and new logistical frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic logistics plans for autonomous vehicle fleets.
  • Optimize routing, scheduling, and asset utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate autonomous vehicle systems into logistics operations.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and technology partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and operational standards.
  • Contribute to the development of contingency plans for operational disruptions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in logistics, supply chain management, or fleet operations.
  • Strong understanding of autonomous vehicle technologies and their operational implications.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and logistics optimization software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for logistics modeling.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for autonomous vehicles.
