Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Private Motorist with a focus on non-medical senior care to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. This vital role involves providing safe and timely transportation for our senior clients to appointments, errands, social engagements, and more, while also offering essential non-medical support and companionship. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport senior clients to medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, social events, and other destinations.
  • Assist clients with getting in and out of the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Provide companionship and engage in light conversation during drives and while assisting with errands.
  • Help clients with light shopping, carrying bags, and organizing purchases.
  • Offer gentle assistance with mobility, if needed, maintaining client independence.
  • Ensure the client's home environment remains safe and tidy during visits (e.g., clearing pathways, light tidying).
  • Communicate any changes in a client’s condition or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained personal vehicle for client transportation.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.

Required Skills

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3-5 years).
  • Proof of current auto insurance and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help seniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a caregiver, personal assistant, or transportation role, particularly with seniors.
  • Familiarity with the New Port Richey and surrounding Pasco County areas.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Basic knowledge of common senior-related health conditions and safety precautions.
