Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Telecommunications Tower Engineer to join our dynamic team in Moncton, New Brunswick. This unique opportunity includes international sponsorship for qualified candidates looking to build a career in Canada’s leading telecommunications company. As a Tower Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of our cellular tower infrastructure, ensuring the highest standards of network reliability and performance. You will work on a variety of projects, from new site builds to upgrades of existing facilities, contributing directly to the expansion and enhancement of Canada’s most extensive network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and optimize telecommunications tower structures and related infrastructure.
  • Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for new tower installations and modifications.
  • Perform structural analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Manage and oversee the construction, installation, and maintenance of tower equipment, including antennas, lines, and other RF components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, RF engineers, and field technicians.
  • Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to tower infrastructure and RF systems.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in telecommunications tower engineering.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications tower engineering, design, or construction.
  • Strong understanding of tower structural analysis, RF principles, and antenna theory.
  • Proficiency with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, RISA-3D, MS Tower).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Eligibility for international sponsorship and willingness to relocate to Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) license or eligibility for registration in Canada.
  • Experience with Bell Canada's network infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Canadian telecommunications regulations and standards.
  • Project management experience in tower deployment or upgrade projects.
