Job Description

Join our dynamic warehouse team at Bell Canada in Moncton as a Cable Sorter. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking for consistent work with weekly pay in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for accurately sorting, organizing, and preparing various types of telecom cables and equipment for storage and distribution. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of telecom cables and equipment.
  • Accurately sort and categorize cables based on type, length, and condition.
  • Perform quality checks on cables, identifying any damage or defects.
  • Prepare cables for storage or shipment, including coiling, tagging, and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse.
  • Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed (e.g., hand trucks, pallet jacks) after training.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (an asset but not required)
  • Familiarity with basic inventory management concepts
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
