Job Description
Are you passionate about uncovering emerging trends and understanding market dynamics? NielsenIQ is seeking a dedicated Trend & Keyword Analyst to join our fully remote market research team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and reporting on key market trends, search keywords, and consumer sentiment across various industries. Your insights will directly inform our market intelligence reports, product development strategies, and client recommendations, helping our clients stay ahead in a competitive landscape. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging market trends, consumer behaviors, and industry shifts using various data sources and tools.
- Perform comprehensive keyword research to understand search intent, volume, and competitive landscape.
- Analyze data from social media, forums, news, and other online channels to gauge consumer sentiment and topic relevance.
- Develop and present clear, concise, and actionable trend reports and insights to internal teams and clients.
- Monitor and track the performance of identified trends and keywords over time, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and client service teams to integrate insights into broader strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest market research methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or a related analytical field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify meaningful patterns.
- Proficiency in keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner).
- Experience with trend monitoring platforms and social listening tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate insights clearly and effectively.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and presentation.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
