Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified plumbers with all aspects of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work areas safely and efficiently.
- Prepare work sites by setting up equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and adhering to safety protocols.
- Observe and learn various plumbing techniques, industry best practices, and local building codes.
- Familiarize yourself with different types of pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures.
- Perform basic tasks as directed, such as cutting pipes, cleaning drains, or holding materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicles and toolboxes.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and curious attitude towards learning and skill development.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades on site.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects (e.g., tools, pipes, water heaters).
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is an advantage, but not essential.
- Exceptional work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Strong desire and eagerness to learn a skilled trade.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including construction sites.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
