Job Description

In this role, you will be instrumental in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, assisting them in finding the perfect musical instruments and accessories. We’re looking for individuals who are not only knowledgeable about music gear but also eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and knowledgeable approach, understanding their musical needs.
- Demonstrate products and provide detailed information about features, benefits, and usage.
- Process sales transactions accurately using our POS system, handling cash, credit, and other payment methods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including merchandising and restocking.
- Stay up-to-date with new products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
- Participate in store opening and closing procedures as required.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for music and musical instruments (guitars, drums, keyboards, pro audio, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, especially in a music-related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of specific musical instrument categories (e.g., guitar setup, pro audio mixing).
- Experience playing a musical instrument.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in music or a related field.
