Job Description

This is a meaningful role where you will support adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to live independent and fulfilling lives within their community. No previous experience is required as we provide comprehensive, paid training to equip you with all the skills you need to succeed. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and medication management.
  • Support individuals to participate in community activities, hobbies, and social events, fostering independence and social inclusion.
  • Assist in developing and implementing support plans, tailored to each individual's needs, goals, and aspirations.
  • Promote communication, choice, and control for the individuals we support, respecting their dignity and privacy at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on progress, incidents, and daily activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to support.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training provided by Dimensions UK.
