Job Description

In this flexible, part-time role, you’ll be the face of Google on your campus, helping us connect with students, promote Google products and career opportunities, and organize engaging events. Key Responsibilities
- Positively represent Google on campus and within your student networks.
- Promote Google products, programs, and career opportunities to your peers through various channels.
- Organize and host engaging events, workshops, and information sessions on campus, from concept to execution.
- Distribute promotional materials effectively and manage Google's presence at student fairs and career events.
- Gather valuable feedback from students to help Google better understand their needs, preferences, and campus trends.
- Act as a primary liaison between Google and key student organizations, clubs, and faculty members.
- Regularly report on activities, successes, insights, and challenges to the Google program team.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or postgraduate student at a university in or near Reading.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with proven experience in event planning or project coordination.
- Genuine enthusiasm for technology and a deep understanding of Google's mission and products.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.
- Active on campus with a strong, established network among students and student groups.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in marketing, brand promotion, event management, or student leadership roles.
- Familiarity with Google products and services (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Android, Chrome).
- A creative mindset with an ability to develop innovative and engaging strategies for student outreach.
- Enrollment in a relevant major such as Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Business, or related fields.
