Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Window Installation Glass Carrier to join our installation team in Bognor Regis. This vital role involves the safe and careful transportation of glass panels and other installation materials, assisting our skilled fitters in delivering high-quality window and door installations. If you are reliable, meticulous, and capable of heavy lifting, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading home improvement company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely load, unload, and transport glass panels, frames, and other installation materials to and from sites.
  • Assist experienced installers with the precise positioning and fitting of windows and doors.
  • Handle all glass and materials with extreme care to prevent damage.
  • Adhere strictly to all company health and safety policies and procedures, including manual handling guidelines.
  • Ensure the work vehicle is properly maintained, clean, and organized.
  • Assist with site preparation and clean-up after installations are complete.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers on-site.
  • Report any damage or issues with materials promptly.

  • Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and sustained physical activity.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a careful, methodical approach to work.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly motivated.
  • Valid UK driving license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a construction, manufacturing, or manual labor role.
  • Experience handling fragile or oversized materials.
  • Basic knowledge of window or door installation processes.
