Job Description
Are you a passionate and skilled baker with a flair for creating exquisite specialty goods? Tesco is looking for a talented Specialty Baker to join our vibrant team in Southampton. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and finish a wide variety of specialty breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all products meet Tesco's quality, taste, and presentation guidelines.
- Manage ingredient inventory, minimize waste, and maintain accurate production records.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Innovate and develop new specialty items to refresh our product offering.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to ensure smooth operations and timely product availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering product information and recommendations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a baker, with a focus on specialty baking.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to consistently produce high-quality baked goods.
- Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
