Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Prep Cook to join our busy Leeds kitchen team. This full-time role focuses exclusively on food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready for our daily operations. You will work morning shifts, primarily behind the scenes, with no direct customer interaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of food items according to recipes and quality standards, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and assembling ingredients.
  • Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and meet stringent hygiene standards at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and properly storing food items.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures.
  • Support the kitchen team with general duties as needed to maintain smooth operations.
  • Monitor food freshness and quality, reporting any issues to the kitchen supervisor.

  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or fast-food environment (6 months+).
  • Current Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or equivalent).
