Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career in data privacy and compliance? Deloitte is offering an incredible opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Remote Data Privacy Compliance Assistant. No prior experience is required, as full training will be provided to ensure you develop a robust understanding of global data protection regulations and best practices. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while contributing to critical compliance initiatives. You will support our data privacy specialists in ensuring our clients and internal operations adhere to regulatory standards like GDPR, CCPA, and others, playing a vital role in safeguarding sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data privacy policies and procedures.
  • Support the data privacy team in conducting compliance assessments and audits.
  • Help prepare reports on compliance status and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor changes in data protection laws and regulations, and assist in adapting internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of data processing activities and data subject requests.
  • Support the handling of data subject access requests (DSARs) and other privacy-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure privacy by design in new projects and systems.
  • Participate in internal training sessions and professional development programs to enhance privacy knowledge.
  • Assist with incident response planning and management related to data breaches.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials for employees on data privacy best practices.
