Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Healthcare Data Clerk to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% work-from-home position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our healthcare data. You will be responsible for precise data entry, record management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information, medical records, and other critical healthcare data into various systems.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and other databases with strict adherence to privacy protocols (e.g., PIPEDA, PHIPA).
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
- Process and manage incoming and outgoing medical documents, ensuring proper categorization and filing.
- Assist with data validation and quality control processes to ensure data integrity.
- Communicate effectively with other team members regarding data discrepancies or issues.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and healthcare data security regulations.
- Generate reports and retrieve data as requested to support administrative and operational needs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data entry and record-keeping, preferably in a healthcare or medical office setting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data entry software.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive patient information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
