Job Description

Are you a natural trend-spotter with a keen eye for what’s next? NielsenIQ is seeking a motivated Virtual Brand Scout to join our dynamic team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in identifying emerging consumer trends, novel products, and innovative brand strategies across various markets. You will conduct in-depth online research, analyze market shifts, and provide actionable insights that help our clients stay ahead of the curve. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about consumer culture, market dynamics, and digital exploration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive online research to identify new and emerging brands, products, and services across diverse industries.
  • Monitor social media, forums, blogs, and other digital platforms for early signs of consumer trends and shifts in sentiment.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and identify unique selling propositions of new market entrants.
  • Prepare concise, data-driven reports and presentations summarizing key findings and trend forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including market research and data analytics, to validate and contextualize identified trends.
  • Stay current with global and local cultural shifts, technological advancements, and economic indicators that influence consumer behavior.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for new research initiatives and client projects.

Required Skills
