Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Weekend Mall Housekeeper to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This part-time, casual role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible weekend work with the benefit of penalty rates. As a Mall Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our high-traffic retail environment, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic experience for all visitors and staff. Your meticulous attention to detail will contribute significantly to our mall’s overall appeal and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting common areas, restrooms, and food court spaces.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms regularly, ensuring they are stocked with supplies.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the mall.
- Clean spills and other hazards promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances, exits, and exterior common areas.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, especially during events or peak times.
