Job Description
Enterprise Holdings is seeking a dedicated and professional Chauffeur Aide – Support Lead Driver to join our team in Elk Grove, California. In this critical support role, you will assist our Lead Drivers in providing premium transportation services to our corporate clients and executives. You will ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and punctuality are met, contributing to an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for an individual with excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to service, and the ability to work effectively in a supportive capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Drivers with route planning, navigation, and schedule adherence.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, assisting with luggage and ensuring comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding schedule changes or potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Support in managing vehicle maintenance schedules and reporting any issues promptly.
- Act as a backup driver when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in safe and courteous driving.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in professional driving or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of local geography and navigation systems (GPS).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage up to 50 lbs.
- Punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a chauffeur, executive driver, or in a similar support role.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operations and features.
- Customer service experience in a hospitality or high-end service environment.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
