Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ENT Clinic Nurse to join our specialized Ear, Nose, and Throat team in Schaumburg. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced nurses and new graduates looking to start their career in a supportive clinical environment. As an ENT Clinic Nurse, you will provide essential support to our ENT specialists, assist with patient care, and contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist ENT physicians with examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment, ensuring sterility and readiness.
  • Educate patients and families on ENT conditions, treatment plans, and post-procedure care.
  • Administer medications, including injections and nebulizer treatments, as prescribed.
  • Document patient histories, vital signs, and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
  • Perform basic audiology screenings and assist with hearing aid fittings.
  • Manage patient appointments, inquiries, and follow-ups effectively.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper ordering and stocking.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Required Skills

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems or willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated empathy and compassion for patients.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous experience in an ENT or specialty clinic setting (highly valued, but not required for entry-level).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
