Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Order Picker, utilizing advanced voice picking technology. This entry-level position requires no prior experience as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves based on voice commands, preparing them for shipment to our retail stores. This role is crucial to our supply chain, ensuring that products are always available for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using voice-activated picking systems.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity to match order specifications.
- Safely operate manual pallet jacks or other material handling equipment after training.
- Package and prepare completed orders for staging and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status or issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to understand and follow spoken instructions clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and verifying items.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment (even if not as an Order Picker).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Experience with voice picking technology is a plus, but not required.
