Job Description
Are you a student looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity to earn money while gaining valuable customer service experience? Saddlebrook Resort is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Weekend Student Valet Parkers to join our esteemed hospitality team. As a Valet Parker, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service by safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles. This role is perfect for individuals who are energetic, possess a strong work ethic, have a passion for service, and are available to work primarily on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all guests upon their arrival and departure.
- Safely and efficiently park guest vehicles in designated areas.
- Promptly retrieve guest vehicles upon request.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide directions or information as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized valet area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and resort policies.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred, but not strictly required).
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in valet parking or a customer service role within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle models and proper handling techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent; currently enrolled in a college or university program.
