Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Dublin, OH. You will work closely with pharmacists to ensure efficient and accurate dispensing of medications, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain pharmacy operations according to all regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Process prescription orders, including data entry, insurance verification, and patient profile management.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and assisting with ordering.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems and cash registers.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and package medications for dispensing, including compounding non-sterile products as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
Required Skills
- Active Pharmacy Technician License in Ohio
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems (e.g., RxConnect)
- Experience with insurance claim processing
