Job Description
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a fulfilling role with excellent compensation? Catholic Medical Center is seeking dedicated ‘Weekend Warriors’ to join our exceptional nursing team. This part-time position offers premium rates for Saturday and Sunday shifts, allowing you to maximize your earnings while providing critical care to our patients. You’ll work within a supportive environment, focusing on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care during the weekend hours. We value your expertise and commitment to making a difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients on designated units, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess patient health status, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Monitor patient progress, observe changes in condition, and report critical findings to the medical team.
- Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Required Skills
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN degree.
- Specialty certification (e.g., Medical-Surgical, Critical Care).
- Experience in a Magnet-recognized facility.
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system.
